4-26-09 @ 11:30am on Miami Beach, Florida, we had rough ocean surf and a jelly fish alert/warning flag on all lifeguard towers. Being a Distributor and Selling StingMate at my JetSki Rental Beach Concessions, we had a mother of a 4 year old girl come to us telling us that her daughter apparently stepped on a Portuguese Man-O-War that washed up on the sand. The Man-O-War stung the little girl on the bottom of her right foot fairly well as she was screaming and crying badly. We sold a bottle to mom and instructed her on how to apply the lotion to her daughter’s foot. After the 2 applications as suggested I told the Dad to bring his daughter into the jacuzzi at their hotel which has fairly hot water. After spending 15 – 20 minutes in the jacuzzi after the 2 applications of StingMate a few hours later Dad returned to thank me and tell me his little girl was doing great and feeling no more sting and playing on the beach again with her sister.
